These people should have equal opportunity to play their part in a society, but due to certain limitations its still impossible. One of the greatest inventions wheel chair help these guys to move around but it requires a lot of exertion and sometimes its really difficult to stop a wheelchair. Toyota a renowned car company focusing on this problem and succeeded in devising a brain powered wheel chair. This wheelchair will do exactly whatever drive is having in his mind. There’s no need for any implants or invasive surgery; a person wearing a skullcap used for electroencephalograms (EEGs) can simply think of rolling the chair or turning it left and right, and the electrical signals generated are read by a new computer program that turns the thoughts into action. I think this is really great invention and can help disable guys to participate in all activities they only use to dream of.

Nine research teams from universities and research institutes around the world recently collaborated on the first successful demonstration of multiple biomedical robots operated from different locations in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Open Source Resource Center Pakistan.

Open source stuff ain’t captured Pakistan market in a way it had captured european open source pakistanmarket. And the reason behind this is lack of awareness among the masses. Another reason could be very cheap pirated softwares. Most of the people rely on those pirated edition and never think of an Open Source Application. Pakistan Software Export Board Ministry of Information Technology has initiated Open Source Resource Center (OSRC) project. The project began in 2003 with an objective to promote and support open source initiatives in the country. It will not only provide the proper guidelines infact it ‘ll also support the people who are interested in developing open source applications. I think this initiative really gonna boost potential of open source applications in Pakistan. They should also conduct a contest annually to encourage young software developers.
